However, TheMooreDaily.com reports it was able to speak with Scott Esk and asked him to clarify those comments. An audio recording of that interview is posted online. When asked specifically about whether he thinks members of the LGBT community should be stoned to death, the voice identified as Esk says:

What I will tell you right now is that was done in the Old Testament under a law that came directly from God. And in that time, it was totally just -- it came directly from God. I have no plans to reinstitute that in Oklahoma law. I do have very big moral misgivings about those kinds of sins, and I think that those kinds of sins will not do our country any good and certainly doesn’t do anything to preserve the family.

When pressed again by the interviewer if he would approve of such a sentence, were such a law to be somehow passed, the man identified as Esk would only respond that it was a “moot point.”

I “love” when voters have the ability to choose morality without being cancelled by liberal  courts. That doesn’t mean I agree with what they choose. Obviously.
 I have no clue what other factors were involved in this race, but believing in the truth of the Bible and the moral values it demands, isn’t grounds for being labeled a nutcase. In fact, if the voters claim to believe the Bible, but voted him out because of what he said, I’d label them a whole bunch of Bible denying nutcases.

I am not projecting any of morals on him. What I am pointing out is he is viewed as a nutcase by Christians.

Meaning personally you don’t think he’s a nutcase for this specific belief, but you think other religious Christians feel he is. Because you accept that somehow even though they believe the Bible they think it’s nuts that at points in history homosexuals were to death.
And that’s clearly evident because he lost the election, so he must be considered nuts, how else can he lose?
But to think it’s nuts to believe the Bible and still think something described within is a moral travesty - tut tut, that’s projecting my moral beliefs on others…

Is this site incorrect that "moral laws" are not abrogated as per some christians (based on the site title I'd guess evangelicals)?

It's very possible I missed a lot of background in how you understand "Biblical Values" - if so please point me to the relevant posts.
