You're referring to this?
Exactly. These people loved everything about Trump.

Why do you keep bringing up Obama?
The facts do not support your claim.

My thoughts: The January 6 hearings are reminding me why I can't stand the Democrats. I don't know the effect it will have on hardcore Democrat voters, but it's definitely making me more staunch in my decision to vote Republican.

Is this my isolated feeling, or do others feel the same. And if there are any Democrats here, does it change anything in your perspective?
Can you expand on that?  What specificly did you see that you disliked?

I can't stand when people who have been calling for impeachment since day one suddenly don the mantel of supreme seriousness and solemnly set on on their quest to preserve the freedom of this nation from the threat of a vicious tyrant.

January 6 was a terrible day, but it was not nearly as bad as they make it sound. The country was never at risk, and if they seek to simply prosecute those who broke the law, they should start with the protesters in cities across the country who destroyed businesses and homes in the name of social justice.

Pushing the same button harder and harder will eventually cause it to brake. The January 6 commission is dancing on an already decimated button, and they think that getting a team of TV producers will somehow make it more palatable.

They stand before the country with no clothes, but they alone (along with some fellow Democrats) are the only ones who don't recognize that.

Our core democracy was at risk. These hearings have shown it was actually worse than we thought. Many diehard supports of the last president have said so. If the president was an average citizen, he would already be in jail.

We now see all across the country candidates that want to overturn the last election. It is worse than they made it sound.

You're using a lot of figures of speech - no clothes, pushing buttons, don the mantel - But you haven't pointed to anything specific about the proceedings.  Is it just their very existence that you oppose?  The fact that the same people were also serving in congress during the impeachment, and therefore, in your opinion, can do nothing right?

The figures of speech were very much intentional. It personifies the aura they have chosen to assume when dealing with this. And although it's a subtlety, it is the best description I can use to sum up why I despise it so much.

I don't believe that our democracy was ever under any significant risk. Definably not a bigger risk than letting law and order crumble in cities across the country. It was only incompetent policing that allowed anyone to get into congress, and 30 seconds of US Army intervention would've neutralized any threat after that if it would've been needed.

The fact that many politicians have called it a threat to our democracy does not mean it was. It just means that is the safest message for them to stand behind, because it has already become non-politically correct to say anything else.

Again, I don't think that it was nothing, and I don't think nobody belongs in jail. I'm only perturbed by their insistence that January 6 was the most significant happening of the last decade.

Yup, and thankfully the right one...

It's a good sign that the other one doesn't even seem to be in second place

Not what the R's wanted to see and it only gets worse. There was a massive turnout for this.
Doesn't that make it better for the Rs? Now it is off the ballot in Nov.

I think having a massive turnout of pro-choice in November would be bad for the R's.

Correct and now it is no longer on the ballot since the voters blocked it already now.

I am thinking about the whole country. Will we have a massive turnout because of RvW?

The million dollar question here is how much did the polls undercount RvW turnout in Kansas. If it was significant, that's a real indication of a blue tsunami in November.

If the polls predicted Kansas accurately, we should assume they're accurately prediction a nearly 50:50 Senate

ETA the only poll I can find is https://kansasreflector.com/2022/07/20/poll-shows-kansans-closely-divided-on-constitutional-amendment-on-abortion/

Showing 47-43 Pro life - pro choice.

Results appear to be 60-40 pro choice.

So pollsters clearly don't know how to account for RvW turnout. If they're making a mistake even half that size in other elections, Dems will get a filibuster proof majority.

I don't know if you are wrong, but at the same time, I think you cannot judge a trend based on comparing a single  (small) poll against a single (primary) election.

This seems to be the poll you cited: 1,557 is a pretty low sample rate, IINM. At the same time, a July 20 article on fivethirtyeight.com about that poll points out why Primary Elections more strongly favor the one's who are more passionate than regular elections.
