MR points for hotel stay?

I need a hotel for 2/6/12 in Chicago, preferably the Hyatt at O'Hare airport. Paying with points is like 20k MR, which sounds ridiculous (I'm new at this and it even sounds off to me, especially since my flights on AA were that much). Anyway, what's the best way to turn MR points into hotel stays? Or, do I have time to open a Hyatt CC?

The value of 20K MR is about $300. Considering you can get the Hyatt for $127, the Hilton for $112 and many decent hotels for under $100 I would say it is an extremely bad use of your points.

You definitely do not have time to get the free nights from the Hyatt cards and even if you do, why would you waste in here when you can use it for hotels that go for close to $1000 a night like some of the Park Hyatts!!!!!
