extra cash from city......stay away!
« on: February 17, 2012, 03:01:48 AM »
wow what a pathetic waste of time.i have accumulated a couple of hundred dollars of extra cash, but, unlike other programs that give you real money back(or visa gc)they give you incentives to get 10 percent off overpriced stuff,or store giftcards that you can get better anyway somewhere else,so beware of this trap and dont sign up to it just for that!

my mother just told me a few days ago that she has one of those cards that she has been using for years. checked the account over 1000$ (besides for the hundreds of dollars that expired) that cant really be spent on anything. what a waste

I have had Citi Dividend for many years (typically 1% cb), and in the past, they will send me a check when the amt reached $50+, but it has to be requested.
I assume you must be referring to a different card.
