I know Israel doesn't require negative covid tests anymore. If one is flying to Israel with a stopover in Germany though, does Lufthansa require a negative test for the short transit in Germany?

Just flew out yesterday.
I go there about 3hours and 15 minutes prior to departure and flew with El Al, and i had a duffle (which requires another line after check-in).

I would recommend that time-frame for anyone who is flying El Al with a duffle. The El Al counter is not fully staffed so the check-in counter line take a long time. If you have a duffle, its another line after that (which wasnt too bad- i but i dont know how they will handle the duffle line with student/group trips in the summer- it will be nutty).I had about 25 minutes at the gate before boarding, so there is some wiggle room- but i wouldnt fly less than that. They were pulling people out of the line for the flights to London,UK.

we went before pesach with elal with 2 duffle bags. and 8 kids. we got there 2 1/4 hours before and were called 15 minutes before takeoff (30 hour after boarding) as we got to the gate.

Many (but not all) superpharms do the testing. 59 shekels for rapid antigen. I just did it today in Modiin and got result in 15 minutes. Shop.super-pharm.co.il/covid19/pre-flights-covid-test. Do this calendar day before you flight from Israel to US.

If someone travel from the US to Isreal for a very short visit overnight for around 15 hours and back to the USA. Is a covid test still required? If yes how do they expect it to get it done in such a small visit ?
