Is there anywhere comfy to spend a few hours past security?
Might just come early and settle in, if yes.

That's probably the worse time. Last night many flights were delayed by 2h bc pax couldn't get through security in time.

Not much difference between KD and Elal lounges other than food

I'm not sure the ticket counters will check you in before 3 hours, so there's a limit how early you can come.

Most airlines are offering online check in and issuing mobile boarding passes so you don't need the check in counter, but if you need to check luggage that might be a problem

When we left last week we got there 4 hours before a noon flight to Newark to return the car (Hertz in terminal 3), then went through Security. We waited for the United people to show up (Premier line had 2 people, regular lines around 80-90). The baggage check-in people got there 3 hours before the flight. Then we got to the line as per the picture above. We got to the Dan Lounge around 90 minutes before the flight.

My guess is ZalC has much lower standards than you for comfy.

I was there a few weeks ago, we used VIP service, dedicated security pre check in, no line at all, then they take you to a private lounge, the VIP person takes your passports and checks you in, comes back with your boarding pass, there is a metal detector in the lounge, a security person comes to do security then a car takes you to the jetway, no boarding line either, I'm not sure how much it is since I was with a group and 1 person paid for it, if you can get this for $190 for the family it's well worth it.

It's Arbel which is now $300 for departures. Actually better than Fattal in certain ways.

The regular VIP in TLV now has a separate security questioning lane, but YMMV with check in/secuirty x rays
