Afaik all the regular (not Fattal or Arbel) VIP is sold out for the summer already.
@PlatinumGuy KDL is much more spacious than the Dan lounge, it doesn't get nearly as full. At busy times its hard to find at decent seat at the Dan.

I definitely had dedicated check in for business on united in January. No dedicated security line, but post security. Will be flying out motzai shabbos on AA and will update IYH (flying in was a breeze, although there is now the passport line but was quicker because you already had the blue ticket from the machine).

I'm not sure the ticket counters will check you in before 3 hours, so there's a limit how early you can come.

It is still worth getting there man hour before the counter opens so that you can line up to check-in.

Got to airport at 1023. El AL was mobbed (D) AA was in C and quiet, notwithstanding that half the line was elal passengers.
No business class security line
Got was done with security at 1041
Was done with (priority) check in at 1044
Security lines were long but moved, was through security at 1057 and passport scan was another 30 seconds.
