A few weeks ago, there was a link on the DDF FB page to a form that would send you a 300/150 coupon when you entered your email address.
I don't know of any way to find that post now (for sure hundreds of posts since then, possibly thousands).

Does anyone know if/where I could find that link to get a coupon now?

With the 300/150 coupons received by email, the email said to print the coupon and bring to a branch.
Does anyone know for sure whether one can just write down a number of a coupon -- that one has received by PM for example -- and bring in a written number without the actual coupon?

Yes, you can definitely bring in just the code.
