What happens to the Freedom/Checking 10 bonus deal if you close the old checking and reopen a new checking? Since that is not available anymore do you revoke being grandfathered into that after closing the checking?

Did open a Chase account for my wife online with a code! and by the final they say i gotte transfer in some money from a diff. account, so i did transfer from my account,  then i get this message!!

Check the activity in your external account (the other bank account you're using to fund the opening deposit for your Chase account). We'll make two small trial deposits to that external account (each will appear as a "JPMorgan Chase Auth Crdt.") Note: We'll immediately withdraw the sum of those two deposits from that same account (which will appear as "JPMorgan Chase Auth Debit.")

But i dont get any deposit-withdraw in my account?????

When did you open the checking account?
Was the other account linked through a credit card to the same profile (on chase.com) ?

I had a credit card under my name with my TD checking set up to make payments. When I opened the account they just transferred the money without verifying as it was verified several years ago...

I tried used a coupon I found online and it didn't work, so I changed a couple of digits and it went through. The site said when I complete all the conditions I will receive the bonus. Is it worth asking through SM what the conditions are or will they catch on?
If yes I'm assuming I should "play stupid" and ask when I will receive the bonus and see what they respond?

Bump

It could take 1-2 weeks.
The fastest way is by funding with a CC, that takes tops 5 days.
Love me or hate me. I still love you.

I have my TD checking account linked to my log in on Chase.com as I have a credit card from chase already, so after I opened the checking acct when I logged into chase.com the checking acct showed up as well and it was already verified to the TD account.

Being that I pay my chase credit card every month online by using my TD checking account, they have the info and its been verified several years ago when I set up the online pay option. (I just went to "account transfers" on chase.com and I am able to transfer money from TD to chase or chase to TD)

I don't remember exactly what I did...

Before opening the chase checking account I had the following:
 - Chase Freedom card
 - Chase Log in
 - TD Bank checking acct
 - when I pay my Freedom card I would pay online through chase, com (which would pull the money from TD Bank)

When I opened the Chase Checking acct online on 11/8 (at night) they asked if I have a Chase.com log in, to which I entered my info and they had all of my personal info already for the application. When they asked how I want to add money to the checking account once of the options was from a checking acct with another bank, and they had my TD info in the drop down menu.

Need more detail?
