Coupon rules:
maintain a $1,500 minimum daily balance, or maintain an average daily balance of $5,000 in linked deposits/investments.
With a free college student account there is no minimum that you need to keep in the account.
Things that count as Direct Deposit
Transfer from Serve (worked for me 4/29/15)
Transfer from Redbird (worked for me 7/14/15)
- Customer can only use one checking coupon per calendar year.
- Customer must not have any checking accounts with Chase for the 90 days prior to account opening.
- Customer must keep new account open for at least six months.
