I was in a Chase branch today and they has a sign advertising 2 specials for today only. The first is for new customers who open a checking account, and the second is for existing checking customers. I had some time so I asked a banker to take me through the offers. They were offering $100 for opening an account and depositing $10,000 in new money.

I almost showed them this thread to demonstrate how ridiculous their offer is
