just log in (or ask anyone else) to any other bank besides chase and transfer money to Your chase bank account account.

officially dd is for my employer, so how do banks verify that it is my employer...and not some other random transfer?
do i need to hand in a form to chase?

They do to waive the monthly fee, but not for the sign up bonus.

Are we sure of this? Just sounds hard to believe that they would distinguish based on purpose.

Google wallet transfered a test amount to my chase account which showed up as a qualifying deposit to avoid the fee.

Sure.
AP and PP avoid monthly fee but don't trigger bonus anymore.

My understanding is that a transfer from one of your other bank accounts to Chase will work. You'd have to link accounts first.

Citibank allows free external transfers = should work
Citibank popmoney would be if someone else is sending you money - never used popmoney but it seems same as external transfer, just from another persons = should work too, being that it is similar and also is ACH transfer

Thanx. The reason I asked is that popmoney can be used even if you don't own/co-own the account that you're transferring to, as opposed to a regular transfer which can only be done if you own the non-Citi account as well.

I just bought 2 Chase checking coupons $200 each, for $1.85 on ebay... I'm guessing that they were cheaper since they expire June 15th. A local branch manager told me that they should work 3 weeks past date offer ends. I'm personally going to use beforehand, but just letting everyone know.
