An Etrade direct deposit (two actually) hasn't triggered the bonus in over a month, even though it has waived the monthly fee.

I SM'ed Chase (prett basic and without TMI - "I have met the requirement, give me the bonus").
They responded with a whole detailed explanation that Etrade is counted as DD to waive monthly fee, but it is not counted as an ACH Push and therefore no bonus.

This is news to me, as Etrade has always worked for me in past years.
Does anyone have data on this?

And how does one do ACH Push with AMEX Serve? Is it just a matter of linking account to Serve and doing a withdrawal from Serve to Chase?

TIA
