The ones I posted don't require a direct deposit. It just happens to be one of the ways to avoid the monthly fee.

its 300 for checking which has no fee if 1500 daily balance, and additional 150 for 15k in savings account

Does it say that you have to maintain the $15k balance or could you just deposit & then withdraw it ?

For a new Chase savings account $50 bonus after you open a new Chase Savings account, deposit a total of $5,000 or more in new money within 10 business days and maintain a $5,000 balance for 90 days.
Or receive $250 for opening both.
