If I want to open a chase checking account that requires direct deposit to get the bonus does the name on the account have to match the name of the direct deposit? Can I open a checking account for my wife and get my paycheck directly deposited there?

I opened a Chase account on my wife's name a few years ago and my paycheck is direct deposited there without any problem. And I did received the bonus as well.
So I guess the names don't have to match, at least the first names...

OK so after a bit of searching this is what I have...
Must be new account, remain open for 6 months and cannot be a student account although you can change after
Direct deposit can be funded from cc but will be ca
Otherwise fund from bb, serve or another checking account (even different (first)name?) although these methods take longer.
The total checking account has fees but can be waived if you meet 1 of 3 requirements (waived for the month or year?)
Anything else?

Go to other banks website to transfers. You'll prob have to go through a 2 day process to link account. You will need Chase acc # and routing. After accounts are linked you can to an ACH transfer from other bank's website. Usually free.
