I used all of my accumulated Delta points to buy two first class tickets JFK-TLV. Because I did not have enough to fly Delta nonstop both ways, I had to settle for the outbound on Air France business class. However, I discovered if I returned both of those tickets, I have enough Delta points for one passenger and enough Chase points for the other passenger to fly nonstop both ways.
QUESTION: Is it wise to use up the Delta points and save the Chase points fearing future devaluation of Delta points OR should I use part of my Delta points (leaving a residual) and almost all of my Chase points so we can fly the more desirable nonstop routes each way?
