Any cheap parking LGA/JFK.

basically if you park on the street at Howard Beach and walk the couple of mins to the Airtrain station its FREE, except for the $5 fee each way for Airtrain thats for JFK. Its $2.50 each way if you purchase a 10 tripper but its only good for 6 months then it expires and you lose any trips lefton it. I dont believe it can be used for anything other then the Airtrain, so as long as you make 5 1 way trips you break even anything more and youre ahead. Just learnt this the other week, too bad as the prior week I had a r/t out of JFK and it cost me $10
for LGA again theres street parking but unlike Howard Beach theres Alternate Street Parking so you have to time it right and park on the correct side and then you walk over the GCP to the Term. EG this yr New Yrs is on a Fri so you can park say at 1pm when it becomes legal to and you wont have to move your car for almost 2 full weeks thats if you park the Fri before New Yrs Day, just need to move it by 1/8/10 at say 11:30am if thats when it starts

Ive parked at both on the street many a time and will do so again by HB this coming Sun when I fly to Rome with AA out of JFK
Ive never paid for parking at LGA and havent at JFK once I learnt about HB a few yrs ago
