I didn't mean that they didn't get it by military conquest. Of course they used military force to get control of it.
My point is that it's not "TAKING" anything. It is theirs to begin with. They are reclaiming what is theirs through military force.
The word "occupied" by it's nature means that I am somewhere that is not mine. I am occupying what isn't meant for me.
Like I said, and I am quoting the terminology of Naftali Bennet (and even more so any right wing politicain would agree), "it is disputed territory with 2 sides claiming rights to it".

The reality on the ground is that because of Oslo Accord, the area is split into 3 parts. Part A which is fully controlled by the PA (11% of the West Bank), B is controlled by both, and C which is fully by the Israelis. Part C makes up over 60% of the west bank. Link to Wikipedia.

Israel claims rights to the entire West Bank, but for the sake of peace and to avoid global condemnation, leaves parts of the West Bank under the control of the PA

I agree that it is Israel's territory. I am saying that even according to Naftali Bennet ("a man with disputable characteristics") and KV"CH to anyone more right leaning, it is at worst "Disputed territory" and not Occupied Territory.

2 things can be true at once.
1. Israel never officially annexed the West Bank because if they did the rest of the world would go nuts.
2. Israel considers it part of their territory, Israelis live there, Israel is building new settlements there, and Israel alone controls most of the territory.
