+1. I've done it before with a galaxy (maybe s9) one time when they had really high trade in values and it worked out okay. Strongly considering it with this deal as well ($265 for a cracked 4). I also happen to have a broken 4a 5g of my own, but the screen is blacked out and the only reason I know it can power on is because it vibrates when I touch the fingerprint sensor. But I think it's probably too risky on the chance they reject it.
Update: I decided not to try my luck with my own broken 4a 5G, and instead purchased a working, cracked screen 4 from ebay for $75.97 total. Received the 6a on 7/28 (so 15 day return window would mean last day to initiate return would've been 8/11 or 8/12) and trade in kit on 8/1. Packed up the 4 and shipped it same day. Phone assessed and refund credited on 8/10. Estimate was $265 and for some reason they gave me $290. So total cost was $488.85 + $75.97 - $290 = $274.82. Gonna see if the buds can fetch a decent price to lower that number, otherwise I'll just use it myself.
