"Algebraic notation" is a method of recording chess moves that uses grid coordinates.
I think a move is usually recorded as the initial of the moved piece followed by the grid coordinates of the space it's moving to. (I think pawn moves are recorded as the space's coordinates alone. I think knights are N. I'm don't know how you handle 2 knights that both have the same space available to them.)

Make sure R is capitalized, and d is lower case

You need to add a + to the end

A move that places the opponent's king in check usually has the symbol "+" appended.
