If you can't add/subtract 1 then you have bigger problems than card counting.  ;D
It's not just adding/subtracting it's doing it quickly.

+1. They shuffle at whatever point the shoe was cut.

I was doing it for a while with the european roulette, averaging $100/hour, till I was kicked out.

Have a really hard time understanding this statement. Just does not make sense...

The chances of winning the lottery with 1 2 3 4 5 6 is the same with any other number you pick
True, so is there any benifit to choosing 32 33 34 35 36 37 over 1 2 3 4 5 6?

Which is more than a "few hands" IME.

At any event there was a jewish casino fundraiser night a couple weeks ago in CLE and they had a blackjack table where the dealer rarely shuffled, so it was a good safe place to employ card counting strategies to my benefit and I ended up tripling up on my chips.

If 10 players sat around a poker table and played an infinite number of hands of poker, everyone will receive the exact same distribution of hands, hand types, and hand vs. hand showdown scenarios. The difference in outcome will entirely and solely be due to the difference in skill. However, in limited time periods, which is practically the case, luck is a factor.

Sure, but play that game in a casino and the house will take part of the action.

Haha true, I forgot to stipulate that I was assuming no rake.
This reminds me of an oldie but goodie quote: "In the poker game of life, women are the rake."

Its simple math. red and black. you have a 50-50 chance of winning, so the green 0 makes sure its not a 50-50 anymore. The same with any number you have a 1/36 chance of winning if the 0 would not be there.
We can argue about this until tomorrow, at the end of the day the odds are against you. Sure you can play smart and minimize the chances of loosing, but you will always have less then 50% chances of winning, so in the longrun you will loose.

I didnt say you are lying, maybe your lucky streak lasted longer then others, but eventually you will loose... the same goes with blackjack, its impossible to beat the house. Yes, you can play smart, but you will always loose sooner or later
actually blackjack has the best odds in a casino- its 51-49 in players favor

Definitely not true, the house advantage is very small in Blackjack (between .17-.6%) if you play with a basic strategy card, and with a little simple card counting you can easily get the advantage.  You can also get in trouble if you do it stupidly though.
my bad thought it was 51-49
