What about this is a routine search? Suppose this level crime would have been committed by a regular citizen, the search warrant would never have been issued. Although they didnt kick down the door, i definitely would not say that this is a routine search like the type they do on a serial killers house...

It seems you know something the rest of us don't. What crime were they there for?
Is everyone oblivious to fact they didn't or were not there to arrest anyone? This doesn't get any more routine than what happened.

Well, a search warrant isn't a arrest warrant so they would not be arresting someone. Secondly, they cannot arrest trump, the public outcry would be to great. This isn't israel where they imprison former prime ministers. Yes, like it or not trump is practically above the law. Point being said is that noone can say that there was no political motive behind this. Whether they have legal authority to search someones house is not the question. They can find probable cause to issue a search warrant on just about anyone, so the real question was WHY they decided to issue that warrant.

The routine search happened back in May when the feds were there looking through boxes. This was the raid. Trump’s attorneys were not allowed in to observe.

There is nothing at all routine about serving a search warrant on an ex-president.
