You think R's trying to suppress votes might be at play or do you only see one side?
There is no excuse for our election system not being updated to 2022. And as long as Ds oppose it, you’re going to have a lot of people questioning if there are funny stuff happening. It’s sad that people don’t trust the integrity of our election. There are ways to fix that. One party fights those fixes with all their might, disregarding the will of the overwhelming majority of the country.

Isn't it the minority you have to look out for?

I am all for voter ID as long as we make sure everyone that wants to vote has it.

Again, you are only seeing one side. The R's oppose anything that gets more people to vote. Do you acknowledge the big lie has done more damage to the integrity of the system than any other one thing?

If they don’t have it they can get it. It’s not rocket science.
So why do Ds oppose it? It’s because of their opposition that we have this mess. It’s what enables people to make these claims of widespread voter fraud.

Argue the points in their merit, don't lump anyone arguing a specific point into the same bucket of conspiracy theorist nut jobs. That's what CV has been doing, and apparently you too.
In a rush, was surprised.

You still didn’t respond to his point… how is voter id suppression? Anyone without enough of a brain to get a voter Id shouldn’t be voting…

When you have 70% of R's believing the big lie where should I lump them in?

You should acknowledge that within those people there are a wide range of opinions.

Almost every voter ID law in recent years included provisions to make it easy to get ID.

@biobook you have been consistently conflating a lack of evidence with evidence against.

The R's oppose anything that gets more people to vote.

The Carter-Baker report found that many of the things Democrats propose to "get more people to vote," such as early and mail-in voting, have not been shown to do so.

Is it surprising that people are suspicious about the motives of Democrats who continue to push them?

The reality is one side doesn't want voter ID and the other side tries to suppress votes.

Then you have the big lie which has done more harm to voter integrity than anything else.

How easy is it to get direct deposit? There are millions that don't have it.

What about a national ID. Use it for voting and gun registration. Give both sides something?

The wording in the polls seems pretty clear.

You used a nice buzzword, misinformation. That word currently is used to dismiss anything which goes against the narrative.

I think my point was clear enough that they don't warrant these questions. It is quite obviously not "misinformation" to quote a report that Carter wrote, even if he did come out *after* it was brought to light again to conveniently set he changed his mind.

Why don’t they want voter ID? Their position on this is a severe aggravating factor to this mess.

Google

Was asking for a specific poll worded in the way you claim. Here's the first link I found: https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2022/70-percent-republicans-falsely-believe-stolen-election-trump/

Question in the poll: "Agree that Biden was legitimately elected"

You should acknowledge that within those people there are a wide range of opinions.

You have people that believe that Trump got more votes, and others that believe Biden got more votes but legal procedures were not kept.
Do you have a specific poll you would like to use as an example? Should be easy for you to find.
