United Basic Economy booked with miles and Quest card

I recently booked a united basic economy ticket using miles, and used my Quest card for fees. Confirmation email said that I get 2 free checked bags, and no mention of carry-on. Even online was showing the same. Then, reminder to check-in email showed 2 checked bags and one carry-on. Boarding pass had BE - No carry-on.

I thought Quest card allowed for early boarding, but I was in group 5, the last one, to board on this flight.

Is this normal or some glitch?

any way to book with TK miles, pay taxes with quest card (in order to get 2 bags), and add a difrent FF# for *G (for lounge acces etc.)?
