Best card for new business??
« on: January 10, 2012, 08:05:56 PM »

Hey all. I have done lots of reading and getting paralysis by analysis.
i would love a chase sapphire for biz but they ain't got one. so i am down to spg , amex premier gold, or capital one spark. i have no preferance just want the best bang for buck. leaning towards spg but since i have it for personal i think the amex gold is way to go. anythoughts are much appreciated.

If you would prefer the sapphire but want only a business card why not the ink bold?

It offers the same type of points (UR points) and they are transferable. The SP however offers 2X points for dining and travel while the IB offers 5X for office supply stores, on cable and wireless service, and landline communications and 2X for gas and hotels (for more info see here).

and as moko pointed out it is a charge card and therefore will not have an official set CL but the balance will need to be payed off every month in full

are you more interested in points or cash back? Personally for business there is nothing like cash back to pour right back into the business.

+1 they all pull credit from all three bureaus.

I wouldn't say stay away, just know what you're getting into (caveat emptor).
