What they don't tell you is about the spider arm on the back of the drum. It is caked with soap scum and it can't be cleaned.
If you get gray grease marks on your clothes out of the blue and can't figure it out, I can.
It is this soap scum that has been building up for months/years on the spider arm and pieces break loose.

Using pods? Make sure you are putting them in first before any clothing
Make sure clothes don't have bubbles on them
