I'm looking for advice if there is anything I can do about the fact that I booked a flight (from TLV to NYC through Europe) with United, and after it was booked, and my card was charged, I received a message that one leg has not been confirmed. I contacted customer service and they said (after 4 hours on chat with them) that since one of the legs is through a partner of theirs rather than their own flight, they cannot guarantee the fare. I asked them to give me a United flight for the same price, and they refused.
Do I have any recourse at all, or I have to go back to look for a new flight?
