I'm on a return flight flying with my kids from the US (IAD) to Israel. We are observant and don't fly on Shabbat.
Ticket was ticketed on Delta.com, but flights are provided by Air France.
They are boarding an hour late for the flight from IAD to Paris, and our connection time is only 1h15. I'm worried we'll miss our connection.
The agent at the gate has nothing to say but we hope for the best.
I'm on hold with Delta.com.
What do I do...
1. To try to get to Israel on time (make sure they hold the plane in Paris, let us off the plane first, etc.)
2. If the plane is gone and they can't get us to Israel in enough time before Shabbat (ask them to pay for hotel for 2 nights, food, transportation between the hotel and the airport, etc.)
I don't know what I'm entitled to nor what I'm likely to receive.
Any quick advice would be most appreciated!!!
