Using Instacart for Walmart we received the wrong size item.
Can we return/exchange at Walmart even though we have no Walmart receipt?
You can tell them it was an Instacart order and they'll give you a GC for the return. They may or may not ask you for your license if you tell them it was an Instacart order, and they may or may not want to see the order.
From my most recent visit they didn't care for the receipt. But they asked for my license and it counted towards the $300 of returns against my license for the calender year.
Though usually there's a limit of max $50 if returns without a receipt, but with Instacart orders they'll bypass that limit.
Though what I started doing is asking the drivers to leave me the receipts that way I can exchange an item if needed. Obviously don't make a silly mistake and let them refund it to the instacart cc used to purchase the items. Make sure you tell them to refund it via a Walmart GC.
