I do not believe that is correct. They have the ability to claim orders with higher tips (thats also what the app says).
Also https://www.reddit.com/r/InstacartShoppers/ has plenty of screenshots as well.
Yah that's odd. I asked the customer service, representive when I called. Stating if I give a fifty cents tip, they'll Probably see it as an insult after schlepping ten cases of water and I wouldn't want to be around, When it's delivered. So the he told me, no, they only get to see the tip amount after it's delivered. They can probably see there was a tip attached, but not the amount. Though I could be wrong.
Just didn't have the time yet to sign up and do a trial run. For example, I know costco has some items Available in the warehouse, but not in the instacart app. Just curious how it works to add such items and how the barcode works. When it generates from instacart to shop using someone else's costco account.
Just bought two Instacart gc in store yesterday. Seems I needed to go to a regular checkout line to buy them. As the women assisting in scanning my items in my cart at self checkout told me she'll do it for me at the supervisor desk. But in the future you need to go to a regular checkout. I wonder if it actually works at self checkout. And if I can buy more than 2 limit if I do another transaction the same day?
