whats the best verizon iPhone insurance/warranty

Just got the vzw iPhone and trying to figure out the best insurance for it??

VZW ASURION-$ 9.99 a month and 169 deductible  but it covers loss as well (2years is 240$=pretty pricey)

APPLECARE $99-2 year with 49$ deductible only for damages max of 2

SQUARETRADE-(with code THIRTY30) 95$ - 2 years 50$ deduct with unlimited claims however most times probably have to send out although they said if it sounds like simple fix you can get permission to go to genius bar in apple store and they will reimburse you with no deductible.

ANY INPUT OR CORRECTIONS IS MUCH APPRECIATED

Verizon Aassurion plan sucks as its very costly as the op stated (Dan they don't for the iPhone). I personally got Applecare as Apple has always been very good to me with any problem I have had ...Macbook or iPad......
You can only buy Applecare within 30 days of purchase!!!

AppleCare+ may cover water damage. Are you expecting to drop your phone in the toilet frequently?

The downside of keeping it in my shirt pocket!!LOL
no but things happen and i left my iPod on my bed and my 1 year old found it and was playing ( of course while i was shaving and watching her) and next time i saw it was "while springing a leak" !!
