Which place was this?
Time to switch to pareve cholent?
Why is it always the chinese restaurants?
Anyone can post the full OK official statement?
Does this statement mean that there was definitely non-kosher meat/poultry served?
Well, his job is representing the restaurants.

This has been OK policy at meat establishments for over 25 years. In a meat establishment where a reliable mashgiach tmidi controls all the meat entering and leaving the premises, and has sole possession of the keys to the store and refrigerators, a shocking story like this could never have occurred. And as a consumer, you of course have the power to demand, check and actually verify the presence of the mashgiach tmidi.
What happened here? Did they hire an incompetent (or worse) masgiach, or was there some kind of other lapse?
These jokes are really insensitive and in poor taste. One should be nauseated and saddened by the fact that multitudes of frum people likely ate neveilos. There were shuls in Lakewood that ordered from them for events so even those who never went to manalapan may have unwittingly consumed neveilos. It would have been self evident to these same posters not to crack a joke about someone’s relatives who died of Covid lo aleinu. This is similarly tragic and should not be treated in such a cavalier way.
I would bet money that the owner had the keys
Obviously that isn't supposed to be the case, and my question is whether the lapse was on the masgiach side or was it a lack of proper procedures?
From the blog post,"The family has two kosher chinese restaurants in Brooklyn, one in Fairlawn, (one in Elizabeth) one non-kosher in philly."Elizabeth must be NKS. What are the Brooklyn ones?Sure hope there's a thorough investigation into them all.
