IDK. When I want to taste DW's food, if it tastes really good I jokingly say it doesn't taste kosher. Maybe there actually is a correlation between food tasting really good and not being kosher.

Surprised you would say this considering the famous story of R’ Shmuel Munkes.

I believe he posted something in 2013 about general disapproval of the establishment, and updated the post last week to add the allegations of the non kosher chicken.
Anyone have the archive of the 2013 article?

It's suspicious that the food is half the price of any Lakewood establishment. Definitely fishy. Also there's a video going around of the goyish owner with a cart of trief chicken.
Based on menu on their website, the prices don't look that much cheaper than Glatt Kosher Family in Brooklyn.
On a side note, it was marked closed on Google earlier today, and is now marked open.

The hechsher says there is no treif food and they are believed. Nothing more is needed.

Yudel has a good track record of calling things YEARS before the official bust. The Monsey story as well and others.

Dan I respectfully disagree with you. If a place is selling a steak in NYC for $39 and every other place is $80, it should be investigated. I'm still not sure why the Larger hechsherim don't have investigation teams that do yearly checks besides for the regular mashkiach.

Your suspicions don't change the neemanus of the hechsher.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Ageed, over the last year there were times where kosher chicken was costing restaurants $7-$8 a pound. The Kosher restaurants aren't selling a portion of sesame chicken for $20 because they feel like it, it's because it's costing them $11-$13. When a restaurant then sells a portion for $6-$7, things just don't add up. I know many people who didn't eat there because the whole place was super fishy. Now everything makes sense.

You think 1/4 pound of sesame chicken, consisting of 75% breading, costs $13 to make? It's a small fraction of that. The margins on a $20 chinese dish are massive.

Are we also investigating NKS yet for being too cheap?
Is KRM also too cheap still?

He literally used steak as an example. We can do the same for Chinese as well.
There are different ways to make money. High margins aren't a requirement. Just ask Spirit or Frontier, who make more money by charging way less..

Never been to KRM, NKS, or this Cinese establishment but I've yet to find a portion of Sesame Chicken for less than 14.99 which is almost 100% more than this place. 1/4lb and 75% sounds made up. I'm in the food business, most portions are about 1/2lb-3/4lb (2-3 cutlets) and like 50% batter.

Find 1 kosher place in the entire U.S. that has a portion of Sesame Chicken for $7.99 then I'll agree with this.

By his telling. There are numerous holes in his story from then.

He is well known for throwing around baseless  accusations.
