Scammed By Fake Airline Call Center Numbers Found On Google

Not sure if this is the right thread but I didn't want to create a new Topic,

I have a booking with TK thru Amex Travel and the flight is in a couple weeks, my DW wanted to add our infant to the flight so she googled TK and a (random) # came up not knowing that its not TK themselves she called and gave them all the info Booking Code, Ticket #, Names, DOB, her passport #,and at 1st they couldn't find the ticket but after a couple of minutes he found it and said it would b $968.31 to add the infant so she tried giving them my AmEx which for some reason didn't got thru, so she asked me what card to give and when she told me what they wanted to charge i started getting really skeptical about the whole thing.
They sent her an email asking her to reply "I confirm.... with a picture of her ID so i checked the email recipient and saw right away it was not Turkish told her to hang up.
Q1: Can they do anything a passport # that i need to report or get a new one?
Q2: when i logged in to see my flight info i see they switched the contact info to some random email and phone #, can they any further harm like canceling the ticket or changing dates?

My main concern is if i need to change passport # and if they can do anything with the flight info she provided.

ETA: "Unless your physical passport is lost or stolen, you do not need to file a report with the U.S. Department of State.  If your physical passport is lost or stolen, please report the loss or theft immediately at" https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/have-passport/lost-stolen.html
