No, heard them already.  Yaffed sends mailings in Yiddish? I've just read their website.
I thought this author was someone in the community, while Yaffed is OTDs who've left?

Yes they send every now and then. I'm sure that's their project or a joint project, nothing new with that "book".

They should be enforced for secular people. Not deeply religious groups who’ve been educating their children in certain ways for hundreds of years. That would be quite contrary to the core values of this country.
Tell us how deeply religious orthodox Jews have been educating their children in America for the past hundred years.

Why are you lumping all groups together and why are you talking about American specifically?
Notice: I said “groups”.

Here is what I mean. You go to a public grammar school. You learn your religious beliefs at home or after school.
You would grow up orthodox with secular studies.
I have orthodox relatives who went that route.  I'm sure there are others here who can give the same answer.

Have you noticed what happened to deeply religious Jews who came to America 100 years ago? How many of their children  stayed religious in the PS system they were sent to?
This was absolutely not what I was talking about.

Not all orthodox are the same, and the government should have no say on determining that.

And has some awesome teachers, I'm sure!

That's a long tradition of yeshiva education that includes secular studies.

This is a tried and failed route. But one can always claim this time it will be different TTTO the shadchan said. Obviously, there are exceptions. I’m happy it worked out for them.

Can I ask how they turned out? I am mainly asking about their religious beliefs.

Just trying to understand the question.

You want parents to prepare their kids to leave their way of life?

Do secular Jews prepare their kids by teaching them Yidish in case the kid wants to become Satmar?
This post is pure gold.

Which I support and is my choice. But I would not want to have the state interfering with my choices.

Thanks for the ammo showing Jewish schools can teach secular studies and the kids do not miss a beat with their religion.

The mission of the Hebrew Academy is to imbue all students with a love of G-d, Torah and Eretz Yisroel and to prepare them to achieve excellence in Torah and general knowledge based on successful cooperation among family, Judaic and general studies faculty and community.

Charted by the state of Ohio, the Academy provides an intensive Judaic and secular studies curriculum from early childhood through high school.

The Academy's comprehensive curriculum is designed to meet the various needs of the student body and has set national standards.

Because then you aren’t addressing the point I made with anecdotal evidence rather you are disagreeing in which case you should explain why.

Rafi isn’t Satmar.
