For the first time in years there is a decent SPG option available in Costa Rica. Westin Playa Conchal (taken over by Westin in Mid 2011) is Starwoods first all inclusive resort. When available points start at 21,500 a night and is eligible for the 5th free night. None of the rooms are standard so they can charge more points and can have blackout dates. I know "All inclusive" is a waste for most of us unless you drink enough to make up for the lost food
. However, its much more than just a hotel and there are lots of activites. It is good to know that there is an SPG option now in Costa Rica.
