I am sure the students/parents would let you know in a heartbeat.

Not so sure.
1. Many of our school are so protected that the kids (and sometime their parents)  wouldn't even realize what is being taught to them until it was going on for some time (I believe Magan David is more open,  where kids are exposed to movies, secular books, etc so it was picked up relatively quickly)
2. Once it is discovered, it could be a huge mess to deal with it. Easier to avoid the headache entirely.

Hopefully there was enough of an awakening and our schools will be more on the lookout when hiring. But at the same time this brings out how careful we need to be when it comes to our kids education. Once somebody like that gets allowed into the classroom, there is no telling what our kids will be taught.

Some of this teacher's ideology is evident by his lifestyle.
But all teachers should be screened for their ideology.  It should conform to the principles of the school and parent body.
Schools make assumptions when they hire, and those assumptions prove right the majority of the time.  But when the teacher's message deviates from the school's, it can cause untold damage.

I think the issur against transgender is even clearer than the one of two males being in a relationship where we don't have the evidence they're engaging in relations. Furthermore משכב זכר requires עדים והתראה

But here we're not discussing punishing them by the letter of the (Jewish) law we're talking about לחשוש מיהו בעי

How does one prove the Torah? It has to be clearly written in Scohtenstein English edition?

My guess is would depend on the position. For a position that doesn’t require a religious person or even a Jew, it would be difficult to fire them for their sexual identity.
