Some of us call out racism, antisemitism, bigotry and many other things no matter where it comes from. Remain silent and it only gets worse.

I guess you are ok with calling humans "it", using slurs or posting pictures of their family including a baby?

An awful byproduct of the political discourse is that "triggering" others has become a celebrated midah for many. Even if facts don't care about your feelings, how we speak about those facts, or if we need to even bring them up, should absolutely care about other's feelings.

I think one can clearly state their opinion without using slurs or losing sight that even those we disagree with are still human beings. Or to put it another way, I can see a fair perspective that someone might choose to use the other individuals birth pronoun, despite the fact that the other individual doesn't want you to.

There's a far cry from that to actively using a slur.

Not directly. It would have to be based on some common points. (The Yoder case didn’t specify preclude such a case.) This is compounded by the fact that the NY regulations aren’t blatant violation of Jewish law. Yet. It is certainly the starting point for any litigation as per the attorneys involved.
