flying united to israel for sukkos passports expiring in Jan

Hi,
We're flying United Airlines for Sukkos to Israel from newark.   Just noticed that some of my childrens passports are expiring in Jan 2023. We're set to come home in October (after sukkos).   Spoke to United they said its Ok.  Just wondering if anyone has any info on this if its a problem.

It surely isn't a problem coming back to US.
The question is if the Israelis require a passport that expires more than 6 months out.

They say that it’s not a problem. I know people that just flew on United to TLV with their passports expiring within 6 months and no one caused them any issues.

Flying delta tomorrow to Israel, my passport expires within 6 months anyone know if the make issues?

Our experience with Delta to Israel with an expiring passport is that they wont give you any problems as long as your return is before the passport expiration date.
