I came across a reprint of ספר הק"ן today in 770. Some fascinating articles there from great scholars and thinkers. I only read through the first article of הרב אברהם חן and found the second part of it, explaining the essence of Chassidus to be spot on. (The first part about the history of the Alter Rebbe is also written well and is very engaging IMHO).
