This is really good. I made it a few times and left out the chili peppers and it was just fine. You can add them in if you want it spicy.

Teriyaki, or honey + teriyaki, or honey + mustard + a drop of soy sauce

Or spices and broil it

Goes great with salad / mashed potatoes / any potatoes / rice...
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

Don't want it too sweet assuming once I put the teriyaki It will even it out?

Any tricks to getting the salmon to be real soft?

Anyone got good arbes/chickpeas recipe? I like them nicely spiced but not too hot
2 cans chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
1-2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup sugar dissolved in hot water
1/4-1/2 tsp. black/white pepper
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper

Put the chickpeas in a container. Mix the rest of the ingredients and pour over them. Refrigerate until well marinated and flavorful (you may need to flip over the container).

Yes (you can do plain teriyaki if you don't want it sweet, or put just a little honey, you can taste it before pouring it on the fish)
Don't overcook. Use a meat thermometer and check on it often, it's ready at 145 degrees.

I'm starting to like to meat thermometer more and more.

Two different worlds when eating meat cooked to the exact temp.

+1. Salmon needs less time then you think.  Bake high temp for shorter time then most recipes

Why would you roll and cut out. just deep-fry balls of dough (pre-made pizza-dough for a shortcut) and inject your favorite filling with these: https://www.amazon.com/Syringes-Scientific-Measuring-Watering-Refilling/dp/B07C71C1LH
