I do 1 tablespoon of salt, always comes out tasty... I also put a 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. And only 1/2 cup of oil. How much eggs do you put?
the recipe I based it on calls for a dozen eggs, I put in six

Cheese blintzes filling;
if your recipe calls for milk in the cheese filling rip it up, and get yourself a better recipe.

its a kler if men are allowed to cook or it goes into the geder of lo silbash, lichorah we can be mechalek
if it ends up with good food it might be problematic, but if it ends up in the halacha thread there is nothing to be choshesh.

I once heard a good joke,
why do we see todays day in age girls learn rambam and boys master the kitchen?
pshat iz, there is a segulah to serve a fleishig meal by the bris so the baby will turn out to be a Grousa talmud chuchum.
todays day in age we find many milchig brisim anf fleishig kidushim, so everything is flipped on its head.

Slightly off topic just wondering do you guys generally find any practical difference between large eggs and extra large eggs? When I try to weigh them I find the extra large is around 5 to 6 g more than the large

Palestinians ≠ Hamas
Satmar ≠ SatmarHQ

That's 7g difference between large and extra large.

I always wonder about this. I see my wife measuring for sour dough to the gram. I would love to add some of this and remove some of that. Do you think it will actually have a major difference?

100% yes. Baking is not like cooking, it's a fragile chemical process - you need precise weights, not volume measurements

kishka
Talking about Kishka... Can someone who works/knows someone from Meal Mart tell MM to make the Kishka with 2 wrappings, the inner, just a plain parchment paper with NO WORDS, and the outer, you can write whatever you want on it (even an XL banner that says Tyh in Orange;))... It's extremely annoying to be cutting open the Kishka on Shabbos (if you leave it whole, that is @which I do...) As there are so many words... Anyone else have this problem?

I think the plastic holds it together better and if you have a good knife it's easy to cut. One side has no words.
(I sometimes remove and put it in foil instead, but parchment paper won't hold it's form, will it)?

MM doesn't put plastic, they put parchment/wax paper... And even if isn't, the parchment would hold the form..
