Cheek meat in your cholent is life changing. Other than that, I just add salt, pepper, garlic, and paprika.

Any Kohanim around?

I know a כהן who would regularly go to the butcher to claim his מתנות כהונה. IINM the tongue is also part of that.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

He would give him. (at least this is what the כהן told me).

Here's his website with info: https://kehuna.org/matanot-kehuna/zeroalechayayimandkeva/

I recently Purchased a 9 Tray Dehdryadter similar to todays post
https://www.dansdeals.com/shopping-deals/amazon/today-excalibur-9-tray-electric-food-dehydrator-154-99-shipped-amazon/
and couldn't find that many recipes for Jerky.... thought it would be worth a post and eventually a wiki post....

Anyone ever made Beef Jerky (Jerkey) with a Dehydrator?
  • What cut of meat did you use?
  • What Sauce or Spices?
  • How long?
  • Any other notes, or pics?
  • What Dehydrator do you have?

When you do, please share ;)

I think they cure it rather than dehydrating it

Try baking the eggplant cut in small pieces and making in cilantro after its done. 1" cubes take around 25 minutes at 400° F.
