Just made the most delicious drink ever imo. If you ever want a oreo/cookie Frappuccino, I found the best recipe. Instead of all coconut stuff I just used regular sugar and milk. (Also didnt use xantham gum) 10/10!!!
Try using xantham gum next time, it'll make the texture better.

No reason to use expensive maple syrup if you're just interested in making it mix better. Just make a simple syrup and use that to sweeten your coffee. I always keep a squeeze bottle around with some. (bring equal parts sugar and water to a boil and make sure everything is dissolved. Let cool).

I'll try it but I think the syrup adds a nice flavor. Maybe the taste difference isn't substantial

Try brown sugar, nice flavor, cheaper than (real) maple syrup.

Maple syrup makes any ice coffee a luxurious tasting drink. Have been doing that for years

Try this: FLAVORED simple syrup. Make the simple syrup like I said (or you can use brown sugar for the simple syrup, as others suggested) and infuse with some cardamom pods, or vanilla, or add a few drops of any flavorful extract you like. Put some shredded coconut in with the sugar when making the syrup, then strain out the coconut. If flavor is what you're after, great. You can have it. I just think maple syrup is too good and too expensive to use the way you're using it. Maple syrup's flavor just doesn't come through enough in the drink to make it worth that.

You can make the ices  in disposable plastic cups. Put a plastic spoon in as well. My kids love it.

Mrs. @ExGingi 's famous Parve Cholent Recipe FINALLY revealed!

While I can't help with the actual recipe, I know that the key is in the "kishke" that's in it. I believe onions are diced and fried and then mixed (along with the oil, iinm) with flour, eggs salt and pepper (and possibly other spices, and maybe even a touch of soup mix - aka MSG, I really don't know). Lots of beans, a nice amount of barley, and some potatoes, salt and pepper and cook to perfection.

Feelings don't care about your facts
