When you said "stronger" I thought "fishy" but I wouldn't describe it as auch, even DW loved it
fishy is not stronger

Saute onions (2-3 per tounge)
Sear (optional)
Add some water to pot
Flip periodically 3-4 hours till it's soft
Peel skin while still warm
Cool it before slicing
What sauces do you serve it with? Ketchup? BBQ? Mustard?

My mother used to make Tongue Polonaise for simchos.  Her recipe had raisins and no canned tomato product, but there are plenty of recipes online.  (I'm very much not a fan of fruit with my meat, and much prefer a plain pickled tongue.)

And my grandmother put pineapple on her fancy roast.  Just no.  It seems some people use pineapple in their Tongue Polonaise.

To be clear, my mother used a fresh tongue in her recipe, but I see some call for pickled.

Apparently but on a much lower scale. After looking into Toom dip (sold at Costco). I found several discussions on Reddit with regards to dips. Us yidden, we always take things to the top.

hummus and tahina are trending i  recent years but some dips are as toppings to chicken/burger sandwiches, not just with plain bread
simple explanation is that only frum yidden eat a roll than fish than meat etc. a goy either eats a sandwich or no bread at all

Dips are a Mediterranean thing and came entirely from boys and girls in Yeshiva in EY.
