Yep I was saying at the beginning of Covid panic is the worst reaction... That being said reasonable precautions need to be taken. @Euclid you're saying close schools tomorrow b/c it's a Friday short day anyway and we'll have a few more days info by motzei shabbos or a different reason?

And the concept of אין העולם מתקיים אלא ע"י הבל פיהם של תשב"ר did as well. The Covid hysteric illogical school closures are just a recent reminder that closing schools at every חשש is detrimental.
 We live with danger lurking around the corner every second of every day and yet still must go about our lives with bitachon and rational hishtadlus.(if the fbi was suggesting to close schools it would be a different story)

I don't know. I'm thinking that my kids would be pretty traumatized if school was closed because of the fear of an attack. Would have to be very carefully weighed against the credibility of the threat.

Every news network will run with it on full cycle up to Elections Tuesday Nov. 8th. Wednesday suspect will quietly go back to his desk job at the FBI

I have been looking into this for a while (not related to this piece of "news"). Can someone direct me where and how to apply for a CCW. I have a permit to own a fire arm but now due the the SCOTUS ruling, I should be able to apply to carry one as well. I am looking to more info on applying for that permit.
