LeBron was asked and commented many times about Colin Kaepernick. Why, he is not a basketball player? All I am pointing out is the question was a fair one based on Jones history.

I agree, he absolutely has a point about the double standard regarding Jones, and he has every right to ask why that isn't being spoken about. But if he's going to complain about double standards, then he has to look in the mirror. He chose to be vocal about social issues when he had no obligation to. But then he has been on the wrong side of other social issues, notably Hong Kong / China and now Kyrie. If you are going to (rightly) criticize the league for its tolerance of racism against one group, be consistent when a different race or group is on the receiving end of racism from the league or fellow player.

You're right, watching it again he does worse than compare, it sounds to me like he is supporting Kyrie or at least justifying.

I don't know why he wasn't asked about Jones, even looking at it from a pure media frenzy angle and not caring about racism. if I was a reporter, that's low-hanging fruit, it's a juicy controversy waiting to explode and get tons of clicks to get Lebron to blast Jones.

IIRC, he was only asked about it after publicly commenting on it. If he had tweeted or made a statement about Jones, he likely would have been asked about it.
