Honestly he needs more than to just give an apology. This isn't some one off mistake, this is a major issue with him. It's turning into a deeply held belief - the longer people push him to recant. Same as with Kanye.

I dont care for an apology, but for some reason society wants one from him. To me he is just a basketball player and nothing more, I dont look up to him or anything.

The issue is that he has millions of people who look up to him. Hard to move on and just say "he's off his rocker". It's like saying that about Farrakhan.

That's just not going to happen with Kyrie or Kanye. So we demand an apology, and then what happens? If they get canceled, deservedly, that proves the conspiracy theories correct, as we see with Kanye. And if we ignore him, then he's allowed to keep spreading hate to people who actually listen to him.
