The main difference between the two IMO is the size of the bubbles. Coke has smaller less intense bubbles pepsi has bigger sharper bubbles.

And coke leaves that feeling on your teeth I don't remember if Pepsi does that.

I don't really drink soda, but when I do I prefer Pepsi, or at least Cherry Coke. I find regular Coke too carbonated, and that it leaves a funny taste on my teeth that Pepsi doesn't. I also like the taste of Pepsi better.

In any case, I'm not sure why the OP is asking what people consider better. There is no "better", only what people like better.
