Yes because the SUB spend doesn't sit
Sure it does. Not just as long.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Is there a difference to charging 6, 10 or 15k for SUB and doing the same but collecting the interest on that money sitting in a savings account? Right now, I might have more Ink cards (family) than @Dan:)
It is only 6k per card, but it is sitting in an interest-bearing account instead being PIF each month.
It really is a new world. It's been years since I'd even entertain the idea of not paying a balance in full because of possible interest.

Anyone know what equipment is needed to do that between 2 people long distance? Any link to someone who does it well?

There is a lot of good info on reddit when it comes to podcasting.

No it’s the same idea. Yes, if you are disciplined enough to transfer that exact amount into a savings account and use it in 12 months to pay then it’s the perfect setup. But fact of the matter is most people aren’t nearly as calculated with their finances. And tons of people are living month to month, so such a setup would mess them up badly.
And a guy that always has 10k in his savings and now he has 25k, are you certain he’s not going to start spending more and “forget” about his credit card that’s due in a year?

IMHO, pay an editor who will tell you what you need. Yes, there's loads of software to do this stuff and you can likely figure it out on your own, but it will take time. Let an expert do their thing, and you focus on what you are good at.

I am not disagreeing. If you have numerous cards to pay each month, I will say there is less of a chance of forgetting.

Maybe ask the guys at Kosher Money / Living Lchaim? Perhaps they can take care of it all for you and it'd be an additional podcast ("kosher" travel/higher level kosher money) in their roster or if they or you are not interested in teaming up they'd give you some start up tips/references to DIY?

Your comments on the other thread opened my eyes to this. Thanks

Really? Please point me to the part of how to convert cc to liquid funds.  :)
I'm assuming you can't fund any account or buy notes with a cc, or am I mistaken?

Would also like to hear more about that (First guest on DD Podcast = CV?!)

But on a much more basic level you shouldn't be opening (or any spending) on a CC unless you have the liquid funds to pay it off. Then convert those liquid funds you would've used to pay it off in full less the minimum payments to get 4-5% account or notes etc. for the 0% introductory period and make sure you have the funds back to liquid to pay off the CC well before the higher APR hits.

Lol it was more about the option to put your spending* into t-notes. I hadn't thought about that.

*regular spending, or other forms of MS ;)

The current rates also help make the call to put funds into these accounts instead of making additional payments on loans (mortgage/auto - a few short years ago where else were you finding "easy" "guaranteed" 3-5% returns - although this may cue the discussion that's been had somewhere here before). Same idea but for some it's helpful to hear different angles.

The podcast won't only be for the DDF elite sooper sekret club?  :)

On a basic level I could not have said it better.

Thanks!  ;D

i set up my payment due dates for ALL my and DW cc of a particular bank to be due on a specific day of month, spread out evenly. eg, amex 10th, citi 20th, barclays 15th, etc  (keeping in mind many cards are in the drawer)
i have found this to be very beneficial
